Characteristics of the lodge
Apartment 4 stars, 8/13 persons, 3 bedrooms, swimming pool
Your hosts Daniel and Marie-Laure will be delighted to welcome you to our 110 m2 apartment nestled on the 2nd floor of a 16th century tower. The apartment benefits from a recent and full renovation. Each of the 3 bedrooms are en-suite. The fully equipped kitchen opens onto the dining room and the living room.
We cater for your young family too, with cots, changing tables, high chairs and are happy to enhance these arrangements should you need.
Being fully equipped you can travel light! A washing machine, dryer and detergent are at your disposal as well as the possibility of ordering from the mobile grocery store which stops every Friday on our forecourt. As you arrive bath sheets and and towels will be on hand so that you can begin relaxing immediately at the swimming pool or in the sauna. We’ll refer to our Spa and Wellness Area under Spa Access below.
The bedrooms
Papyrus du Nil
This 18 m2 room has a double bed and a single child’s bed (80×160) and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Bed linen is provided and the beds will be made for your arrival.
Organic and locally made toiletries will be available: shower gel; soap and solid shampoo.
Monarde
This 16 m2 room has a double bed and a single bed with storage space. This air-conditioned room has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Linen is provided and beds will be made for your arrival.

Lupin des jardins
Room of 16 m2 with 2 possible configurations:
option A: from 3 to 5 single beds
option B: 3 single beds and a double bed.
This air-conditioned room has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Linen is provided and the beds will be made for your arrival.

Your wellness stay
Spa, hammam, sauna available
From the castle’s forecourt, you can access the spa on the ground floor. A wellness area with a jacuzzi for five people, a hammam cabin and a sauna cabin for two people.
Additional massage services can be provided by our partner, a professional masseuse with a diploma in sophrology.

- The gîte must be left clean and orderly on your departure (otherwise 100 euros for the cleaning fee) – Shops available less than 5 kilometers away, in Navarrenx.
- Basque-Béarnaise mobile grocer which stops on the forecourt of the Château on Friday mornings; orders possible.
